Anoka is considered a suburban city of close to 20,000 residents located at the confluence of the Rum and Mississippi Rivers northwest of the Twin Cities. The city actively promotes economic development and offers a variety of recreational sites including parks, trail systems, ice arena, aquatic center and golf course.
